Historical Societies

There are over 30 historical organizations in the Monadnock region that collect, preserve and communicate local history.  See a list of historical societies with links to their websites below.

Monadnock Historical Societies Forum: was established to provide an avenue for regional historical societies to pool their collective knowledge and conduct collaborative exhibits and programs.  This roundtable meets three times per year on the third Thursday in February, June and October.  See our events calendar for dates, times, and locations.  For further information on the Monadnock Historical Societies Forum, please contact the Historical Society of Cheshire County’s Director of Education by email or at 603-352-1895.
