Tools of the Trade

Grades 3-5. Touchable Artifact Kit.  Students can literally touch history with this wonder box, containing 19th and early 20th century artifacts related to technology and work over time.  Students are allowed to carefully handle each object while sporting curatorial white gloves.  Activities ask them to act as history detectives, carefully analyzing artifacts to determine their use.
