Art in Nelson

Calling all art lovers and budding artists of all ages!

Make history by creating art at this free, family-friendly event.  Join regional artists and the Historical Society of Cheshire County in Nelson, New Hampshire, to create your own masterpiece that documents old buildings, interesting sites, and the people of Nelson– just as artist Albert D. Quigley had done over half a century ago.

Grab your sketch pads, crayons, colored pencils, and paint.  Bring your imagination to any public space in town.  Set up as a family, on your own, or beside another artist.

Saturday | August 12th 11am-2pm
Restrooms are available, as is food for purchase at the town common.

RSVP: contact  Jennifer Carroll, Director of Education, at dired@hsccnh.org or 603.352.1895.
