Summer Camps

Offering children edutainment, a sense of place, and a link to the past.

At the Historical Society of Cheshire County’s 18th Century Kids Camp, kids in 3rd to 5th grade will enter the world of Keene, New Hampshire, in the 1760s-1770’s. Campers will become people who actually lived and worked in the community during the 18th century.   Throughout the week children will learn about the various types of people who made up the community; cook and prepare food; construct an outdoor kitchen; barter for goods at market; study 18th century trades; and play games.
