“Our Story: The Art of Community Connections in the Monadnock Region” was a juried art show that showcased the work of over 40 mixed-media artists and artisans from across the region. Each artist created works exploring their personal connections to the Monadnock region. 

Visitors were invited to experience the Monadnock Region through the eyes of its artists, featuring works that range from depictions of local landmarks and events to abstract interpretations of community relationships. Together, these pieces wove a tapestry of shared experiences that highlight what makes this region special.

“The Monadnock region’s identity has been intricately connected to its arts community for generations,” said Jennifer Carroll, Executive Director of the Historical Society of Cheshire County. “This exhibit offers a remarkable opportunity to see how varied their impact is here. Almost all of these works will be for sale. We’re especially thankful to each artist who has agreed to contribute a portion of the sales of their art to support our mission: to collect, preserve and communicate the history of Cheshire County.”
