Hear ye, Hear ye!! You are most cordially invited to attend our Annual Gathering, to be held on the twenty-second day of April in the year two thousand and six and twenty.

5:30-6:00 pm: Social Time & Refreshments
6:00-6:20 pm: Annual meeting of the Historical Society. The public is welcome. Historical Society members will have an opportunity to vote on this year’s slate of board members and changes to the Society’s bylaws.
6:20 pm: “The Case of Bathsheba Spooner Reconsidered: Gender, Loyalism, and Politics in a Famous

Revolutionary Murder Trial” presented by Dr. Gregory Knouff of Keene State College.

Proposed By-law Changes:

VI Trustees

§ 8.  Powers. Subject to any vote of the Society, the Trustees shall set the general policies of the Society and shall appoint the executive director and approve the executive director’s compensation package.

VII Committees

§ 2.  The Executive Committee shall consist of the Board Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. The committee acts on behalf of the full board as needed, hires the Executive Director and sets the compensation package, and serves in an advisory capacity to the board and Executive Director.
