Auction of Historic Proportions 2017

The Auction of Historic Proportions is the biggest fundraising event of the year for the Historical Society of Cheshire County. On Saturday September 29 from 6-9 pm, over a hundred items are available in a live auction and silent auction, and online bidding is underway in the month leading up to the event. Many of the auction items have connections to Cheshire County: for example, a cherry tavern table in the style of period furnishings at the Wyman Tavern, or a tour of the film studio of Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan in Walpole, or an antique rocking chair made in Munsonville, or a basket of craft beers from New Hampshire brewers.

The Historical Society of Cheshire County invites you to participate in our online auction from September 1st – 27th. Top bids will then move on to our Live / Silent Auction event on Friday September 30th. Winning Bidder will be the highest amount from Silent/Live/Online Auction. Event tickets are available online or by visiting the Society located at 246 Main Street Keene NH. Most of the auction items are on display at the Society if you wish to view a particular item please contact us at 603.352.1895.

Note: All online items will move on to the Live / Silent Auction held September 29,2016. Winning Bidder will be the highest amount from Silent/Live/Online Auction. Please note some items are pick up only and the winning bidder is responsible for any and all shipping costs.

Those who attend can expect to have some fun and enjoy a few laughs in support of the of the Historical Society’s programs which help people of all ages “find their place in history.”
