Meet 18th Century Characters at the Wyman Tavern: In his diary, Abner Sanger documented his interactions with many other residents of Keene, but he gave particular attention to his love interests. Rivalry and competition for affection frame a story that gives insight into Keene’s lively wartime dating scene. A discussion with the audience will follow this 20-minute presentation by JJ Prior and Emilia Whippie Prior. Combine your visit with a guided tour of the Wyman Tavern at 1pm for $10/person and $5/person for Historical Society members.
