Presentation: Native American Baskets of the Monadnock Region

The public is invited to attend a free presentation on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 4pm at the Historical Society of Cheshire County.  Lynn Clark, independent museum professional and anthropologist will talk about Native American baskets in the Monadnock region and New Hampshire.  Lynn Keating Murphy, Abenaki Indian and master basket maker, will talk about her family’s Abenaki basket history with particular emphasis on their turn-of-the 20th century business in Keene.
