Railroad History Tour with Alan F. Rumrill
How did the coming of the railroad impact New England communities like Keene, NH? Walk the Cheshire Rail Trail through downtown Keene with Historical Society of Cheshire County executive director Alan Rumrill. Learn about the arrival of Keene’s first train in 1848. Visit the sites where many industrial firms found success along the tracks in the downtown area.

Tickets are $10/person. Tickets must be pre-purchased on www.hsccnh.org at least 24 hours before the tour. No walk-up tickets will be available at this time. Tour guides do not carry money.
Space is limited to 20 people per tour. Tours meet at the city parking lot on Water Street. Bring a printed copy of your ticket or show it on your smartphone to the tour guide.
