Watch the 1-hour virtual screening of The Vote

One hundred years ago, the 19th amendment was ratified, guaranteeing American women the right to vote. To celebrate this monumental achievement, the Historical Society of Cheshire County is collaborating with New Hampshire PBS to bring you American Experience’s newest documentary, The Vote.  
Thursday, June 25th.  7pm.  Watch the 1-hour virtual screening of The Vote, which encapsulates the dramatic story of the epic crusade waged by American women for the right to vote. Immediately following the program, you are invited to stay for a passionate panel discussion featuring Historian and Film Consultant, Susan Ware and Liz Tentarelli, President of the League of Women Voters of New Hampshire and moderated by NHPBS’ VP and Chief Content Officer Dawn DeAngelis.  This is a free event. July 6-7.  Save the date for the full 2-part series of the American Experience, American Experience: The Vote.  
Wednesday, August 26.  The Historical Society of Cheshire County will host another 1-hour screening of AMERICAN EXPERIENCE THE VOTE. The screening is free to all.  Registration will be required, more information to follow.
