On Sunday, September 17th at 1pm the Historical Society of Cheshire County is hosting a special event for the public, a story circle entitled What Happened after the Trains Left Keene. What’s a story circle?! It’s a community event where we will be sharing our memories of the close of the Cheshire Railroad and the construction of the Cheshire Rail Trail. Don’t worry if you don’t have a story to share. Story Circles have guest speakers who participate in the discussion. Come hear Charles Redfern, Alex Henkel, & James S. Gruber, PhD. This educational event will be filmed for archival purposes by the Historical Society and the discussion will be facilitated by John Harris of Franklin Pierce University.
