
About our Walking Tours
Join us for a Magical History Walking Tour. Hear the stories behind many of those beautiful Wall Dogs murals in downtown Keene. Learn some of the amazing but true stories of the people, places and businesses that have contributed to Keene’s rich history and character.
Space is limited to 15 people. Advanced registration is required; a rendezvous point downtown Keene will be disclosed prior to event. Tickets are $10/person. Use link below to purchase tickets. Multiple dates are listed please use scroll feature to see all dates and times.
You must bring a printed copy of your ticket or show it on your smartphone to the tour guide. This is a 2 hour walking tour on mostly pavement and flat surfaces. Please wear comfortable shoes, bring a water bottle, dress for the weather, and follow COVID Health & Safety measures listed below.

We look forward to welcoming you to a guided walking tour of Keene’s Walldogs murals. At this time we must limit the tours to 15 people maximum. Below are the visitor Covid-19 safety guidelines to help orient you before you arrive and ensure you get the most out of your experience.
By purchasing a walking tour ticket from the Historical Society, you agree to abide by these policies.
Masks are recommended for all unvaccinated visitors.
CDC guidelines advise that masks should reach above the nose, below the chin, and completely cover the mouth and nostrils, fitting snugly against the side of the face.
Wash hands and use hand sanitizer.
Help prevent the spread of germs by washing your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before your tour.
Social distancing is required at all times.
Visitors and staff must try to keep at least 3 feet from others on outdoor walking tours.
Stay home if you are feeling sick or symptomatic.
Please do not join the tour if you or anyone in your party has experienced any symptoms related to Covid-19 in the past 14 days. Staff will be performing self-health checks before coming into work.

All visitors, including members, must purchase or reserve tickets more than 24 hours in advance. No walk-up tickets will be available at this time. Tickets are available for purchase in advance online: click link here to purchase tickets.
Have a happy and healthy tour experience.
Bring water, hand sanitizer, tissues, and a spare mask with you. Be prepared to stand or walk for 1.5 to 2 hours and to be outside throughout your tour.

Historical Society staff must enforce these guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone on our tours. Please make sure to follow their directions.
