Here’s all you need to know to be ready for 18th Century Kids Camp!
Period Clothing
At the Historical Society of Cheshire County’s 18th Century Kids Camp, period clothing is provided as part of your child’s camp experience. Parents signing their child(ren) up for camp, should submit the following measurements (in inches) to the Camp Director Jennifer Carroll at 603.352.1895 or dired@hsccnh.org.
Girls:
Height
Waist
Chest
Waist to Ankle
Nape to wrist
Head circumference (for caps)
Boys:
Height
Waist
Chest
Waist to 2” below the knee cap (we don’t want to measure right to the knee because when they sit, the britches will be too short)
Nape to wrist
Head circumference (for caps)
Campers are welcome to wear the clothes all week as part of the camp experience. We recognize, though, that July can be very hot. Therefore, we ask that period clothing be worn on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. It will be optional on Wednesday and Thursday.
