Calling art lovers and budding artists of all ages!

It’s the 3rd Annual Plein Air Art day– and this year we’re crashing Nelson’s Old Home Day.

Join local artists and the Historical Society of Cheshire County in Nelson Center between 11am and 3pm on Saturday, August 12th.  Create your own piece of history through art, just as Nelson artist Albert D. Quigley did over half a century ago.  Bring your sketch pads, crayons, colored pencils, and/or paints.  Saddle up beside an artist or venture out on your own, whatever inspires you to create art.  This event is free and family-friendly.

Restrooms available and food can be purchased at the town common.
