Membership is one of the best ways to get involved at the Historical Society of Cheshire County.

Your membership dues will support over 150 programs per year such as exhibits, walking tours, guest speakers, special events, school programs, summer camps, and more.

New membership benefits for 2026!

  • Membership at the $100 Contributor level or higher comes with reciprocal benefits at participating institutions of the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association. NARM benefits include free admission at participating NARM institutions and member discounts at museum shops.
  • Examples of NARM institutions are the Currier Museum in Manchester, Canterbury Shaker Village, Portland Museum of Art, Clark Art Institute, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Corning Museum of Glass, Mark Twain House and Museum, Shelburne Museum, and hundreds more.
  • $250 Sustainer members and life members receive a free copy of “Very Poor and of a Lo Make, The Journal of Abner Sanger” edited by Lois K. Stabler.
  • All membership levels can receive a free membership to give to a friend or relative under 30 years old. 
  • All members receive subscriptions to our newsletter, discounts at our Museum Store, free admission to the Wyman Tavern, and being part of the important work we do.
